YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
City Opera House is proud to announce the finalists in the Ninth Annual Young Playwrights Festival at City Opera House.
Six exemplary student playwrights have been chosen as Young Playwrights Festival finalists. The original works will be produced and performed on the City Opera House (COH) stage April 19, 2020.

An invaluable part of the Young Playwrights Competition is the mentoring component. Finalists will be matched with national playwrights who mentor the students as they hone their talents and plays. All six finalists will see their original one-act plays produced and performed on the City Opera House stage. Finalists also receive a $100 award.
Everyone is invited to experience the plays Sunday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. This event is free to the community.
