I am thrilled to be part of the Glen Lake family as a 4th Grade Teacher! I come to Glen Lake as a graduate of Michigan State University, with studies in Elementary Education, Geography and English. I have completed a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University and a second Masters Degree in Administration from Grand Valley State University. This year I will finish my Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. I have experience teaching all grade levels preschool through 5th grade, being a curriculum coordinator, teacher coach, interventionist and a Principal from Lansing, to China, to Northern Michigan.
It is always a priority of mine to enjoy the beautiful place in which we are privileged to call home. My family and I enjoy swimming, bonfires, camping, boating, skiing, hiking, and playing in the outdoors. I have always thoroughly enjoyed sports, such as tennis, competitive swimming, soccer, scuba diving and gaelic football. I have three children, Jet, Avie and Annie. My husband, Doyle, and I could not be more thrilled to be able to be part of the Glen Lake family.
