I wasn’t always sure I wanted to be a teacher until I started coaching where I realized how much I enjoyed sharing my passion for sports with young athletes. That took me on a college adventure where I earned my Bachelors of Science- Psychology from Wayne State University, my teaching certificate from UofM-Dearborn, and my Masters in Science Education from Lawrence Tech. I have been teaching middle school science since 2012 and have enjoyed every minute of it! I am a native downstater but have fallen in love with the Northern Michigan way of life- hiking, running, and spending time at the beach all times of the year with my husband and daughter.
