I attended Eastern Michigan University for both my bachelors degree in education and my masters degree in counseling. I've been involved in education for many years, and I've had various roles such as school counselor, teacher of German and psychology, basketball coach, and student council advisor. I’m really excited to be a part of the Laker team. What I love most about being a school counselor is forming positive relationships with students, supporting them as they make the exciting transition from childhood to adulthood, teaching them about life skills and exciting opportunities for their future, and comforting them when they are struggling. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and engaging in many outdoor activities, such as biking, hiking, boating, swimming, kayaking, and camping.
