A believer in the holistic education of children and that music education is critical for their development, Mr. Stow has been teaching at Glen Lake Community Schools since fall of 2022 as the K-12 Performing Arts and Choir Director. During the summers, Mr. Stow is the music director for the High School Musical Theatre at Interlochen Arts Camp. Prior to starting at Glen Lake, Mr. Stow taught at Elk Rapids High School and Cherryland Middle School, where he taught from 2003-2022. Under his direction, choirs have performed and traveled around the State of Michigan, in Europe, Toronto, New York City, and Chicago. He is a sought-after adjudicator of MSVMA, the Michigan School Vocal Music Association. His choirs have also had success at festivals hosted by MSVMA at the regional and state level, earning "Superior/Excellent" ratings. A World Music Percussion and International Baccalaureate certified instructor, Mr. Stow is known for his passion in teaching and performing music from around the globe. Mr. Stow has 3 children and is a chronic remodeler, roller coaster fanatic, and sushi lover.
