I teach both Mathematics and Physical Education here at Glen Lake. I chose to go into teaching because I love learning, and more importantly, I love to make a difference in people's lives! After graduating from Suttons Bay School District, I attended Aquinas College where I received a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Health, Recreation and Physical Education. While at Aquinas I also received my Elementary Teaching Certificate. I continued my education at Ferris State University where I earned my Secondary Teaching Certificate in Mathematics. I feel blessed to work in a phenomenal school district with wonderful students, staff and community! I am a mother of two wonderful children and wife to an amazing husband. Family is a big part of my life, and I spend most of my free time with my husband, kids, parents and grandparents. I also have a love of sports and the outdoors.
