My name is Jason Misner and I am proud to be a Laker! I am honored, humbled and excited to be granted the opportunity to serve the children, families, community, and staff at Glen Lake as superintendent.
My family and I are making the move from the Kalamazoo area and view Glen Lake Schools and community as a special place to raise and educate children. We are transitioning from the Parchment School District (Kalamazoo County) where I have spent the majority of my professional educational career. In Parchment, I was given the opportunity to serve as a teacher, coach, club sponsor, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal. For the past four years, I have been blessed to serve the district as superintendent. I am a graduate of Hope College and Western Michigan University and the most important title I have ever been given is husband and father.
My wife Julie and I have been blessed with three amazing children who are entering grades 7, 4, and Kindergarten this fall. They are excited to join the Laker family!
