I am a Middle School ELA Educator and LOVE teaching Middle School-Aged students! I have been teaching at Glen Lake since 1995 and pride myself in being a Laker. I am also a Teacher Academy Mentor Teacher for Glen Lake and Breakfast Book Club Coordinator for Middle School. I earned a B.S. in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University and a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Teaching from Michigan State University.
When not teaching, my time is spent with my family at sporting events, traveling and watching good movies. I can often be spotted on a walking trail with my dog, enjoying a coffee at a coffee shop and feeding the birds. My happy place is sitting on my deck with a cup of coffee and a book that takes me on a fantastic journey.
