Glen Lake Middle School
Glen Lake Middle School is committed to creating a comprehensive middle school environment that focuses on student achievement and supports students socially and emotionally as they navigate these challenging adolescent waters. The dedicated teaching staff provides a student-centered engaging curriculum in which learning is the priority. All students take core classes in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.
The Glen Lake Middle School Program Includes:
Middle school academic teams
Electives such as art, band, physical education, and student council
Individual educational programs for students with special needs
Interscholastic, intramural and co-curricular programs

Education Excellence Award
Congratulations! 'Essential Rotations' at Glen Lake Middle School has been awarded the Education Excellence Award from the SET SEG Foundation in partnership with the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB). This is an incredible achievement as only 10 programs were selected from the many outstanding applications we received from public schools across Michigan. Glen Lake Middle School Staff and students received a $2,500 check, a commemorative trophy, and an “Education Excellence Winner” roadside sign. Sign will be placed on Burdickville Road soon! The funds will help the staff and students build upon our 'Essential Rotation Classes' to keep them filled with novelty and hands on experiences.
