I am continually honored to be a part of Glen Lake Schools and the students' educational experience. I find joy in helping students to make a difference and feel that teaching is a true vocation and a way of life. I am blessed to be able to teach and share my passion for History here at Glen Lake. After graduating from Traverse City Central High School, I received a Bachelor's of Arts from Western Michigan University in Elementary Physical Education, a Bachelor's of Arts from Calvin College in Secondary History and a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. I was born and raised in Traverse City. I am married to my best friend and have three amazing kids. My hobbies include road and mountain biking, basketball, camping, carpentry and spending time with my family.
