Stefanie Murphy is the LIFT Coordinator for Glen Lake Community Schools. Stefanie’s continuous passion, love and dedication to young people shines through in her day-to-day interactions with students and staff. She addresses any and all needs of ALL students at Glen Lake Community Schools, using her training in Restorative Practices and experience as a Safekeeper to all. Thank you Stefanie for being an amazing role model for social justice and change by caring for the well-being of each and every student you work with.

Reminder that tickets for the Grand Traverse Guns N Hoses 11th Annual Hockey game will be sold at tonight's JV and Varsity Lady Lakers basketball games against Buckley. The Guns N Hoses hockey game is February 24, 2024 at Centre Ice Arena with doors opening at 6pm and puck drop at 7pm. The game benefits cancer fighter and Glen Lake alum, Kelly Florip. Tickets are $5 each and #TeamFlorip shirts and sweatshirts will also be for sale at tonight's game.

Calling 5th-8th grade students to join the next Stepping Into Girls Who Code event this year! They will meet at 20 Fathoms at 10850 E Traverse Hwy Ste 4400, Traverse City, MI 4968. Students will rotate through various tech and coding activities, have fun, make new friends, and eat pizza, chips, and cookies. For more information and registration scan the QR code on the flyer.
Our 6th grade students are off to a great start with their day of learning at Leelanau Outdoor Center! This exciting trip is aligned to the work students have been completing in ELA class! Do you remember the book, To Build a Fire by Jack London? What a way to wrap up so much learning! Thank you Mrs. Brown and Mr. Smith for taking them on this adventure!
